Have Your Say:
Shaping Mental Health Care for Psychological Trauma
We are inviting people with lived experience of adverse or traumatic life experiences to share their views and help shape a future care pathway in Argyll and Bute.
You may wish to take part if you:
· Have been given a diagnosis such as Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), complex PTSD, and/or Dissociative Identity Disorder
· Do not identify with a diagnosis but as a result of trauma or adversity find yourself struggling with your mental health, with your ability to function or manage your emotions/ stress, with your relationships, or with your identity
· You do not need a formal diagnosis to take part.
· We also would like to hear from carers, family, and loved ones.
Why we want to hear from you
We want to ensure that mental health services in Argyll and Bute are:
· Compassionate and trauma-informed
· Accessible and responsive
· Shaped by real experiences, not just clinical perspectives
What taking part might involve
Opportunities to share your views may include small group discussions or written feedback. You can choose how much or how little you share, and participation is entirely voluntary.

Following recent outbreaks of meningitis in the UK, the MenB vaccine is being offered to some older teenagers and students under 25 who are at higher risk of exposure to meningococcal group B bacteria. This time-limited programme will be offered to some older teenagers and some new college and university students who are at higher risk of exposure to meningococcal group B bacteria. |

To help raise awareness of the MenB vaccine programme, Public Health Scotland (PHS) has created a social media toolkit with assets and captions to share on your social media channels. Email, newsletter and website copy as well as digital screens are also available to download. All resources can be downloaded on the PHS Marketing Resource Centre. Additional assets and resources will be made available throughout the campaign. Please regularly feed these social media assets into your planned activity using the hashtag #MenBVaccine. Using the campaign hashtag is important as it allows us to monitor usage, which informs future campaigns.
