Non-NHS Services
Some services we provide are not covered under our contract with the NHS and you will have to pay for them. Examples include:
- Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV, ML5 etc.). Eye tests must be booked and completed with your optician before you book your appointment for your medical.
- Insurance claim forms
- Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
- Private sick notes
- Vaccination certificates
Fees for these services are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales. Our reception staff can tell you how much you will have to pay and when appointments are available.
Please note the practice does not provide travel vaccination services. You can find out more information about vaccines and travel on the NHS inform website. Alternatively you can contact Tru Health Pharmacy in Lochgilphead who offer a travel vaccination service. Tel: 01546 602455
